Wood Flooring

There are two types of wood flooring: solid and engineered boards – and we stock and expertly fit both. As the name suggests, solid wood boards are made from solid wood, are thicker (14mm-20mm) and can be sanded more often. In contrast, engineered flooring has a veneer of solid wood and are more practical making them ideal in hard to fit areas. We have all board sizes and thicknesses available from traditional oak to stained white washed, grey oiled finishes.
Laminate
If you want to attain a look you’ll love for a lifetime, laminate flooring is a quality and stylish option. Often viewed as alternative to real wood flooring, laminate is cheaper to buy and simpler to install – but is by no means a compromise. This surface has greater tolerance to scratches, dents and stains to become the ideal choice if you want the aesthetic beauty of solid hardwood but need a harder-wearing option. For this reason, laminate is popular for active households with pets and young children. From English Oak to the Scandinavian white wash look, we stock a range of laminates in different colours, textures and plank thickness from a portfolio of quality suppliers.
Professional fitting by our team of specialists
We offer an expert carpet, vinyl, solid/hardwood and laminate floor fitting service using a team of experienced craftsmen. All our fitters are accredited to the Flooring Industry Training Association (FITA) to ensure your floor will be laid to the highest standard. Our rates are extremely competitive – with the price we quote being the price you pay. For a small extra charge, we will also arrange the uplift and removal of your old carpet.
